Learn about the importance of utilizing an intersectional framework in all areas of your life, especially in professional and educational settings. Intersectionality means the interconnected nature of social identities such as race, class, and gender as they apply to a given individual or group, regarded as creating overlapping and interdependent systems of discrimination or disadvantage. In this session, we will be hearing from experts in this area and how an having an intersectional lens can help in identifying inequalities and injustice people face, identifying them will aid in combating them.
