Once an Aggie, Always an Aggie

The Aggie Women Network is a volunteer organization passionate about giving back – back to our University, back to each other.

Together, we are building a legacy of strong Aggie women for current and former students.

History

The Aggie Women Network started in 2007 and is a Constituent Network of The Association of Former Students. Our organization has flourished over our 15+ year history and we continue to grow each year. We host networking opportunities, special events, grant scholarships and so much more. By supporting Aggie women, we ensure our impact leaves a powerful legacy.

Mission

The mission of the Aggie Women Network is to connect, empower, and celebrate the women former students of Texas A&M University, fostering a supportive community that is dedicated to giving back through scholarships, networking, and recognition.

President Welcome Letter

Howdy and welcome to 2026! I am honored to lead the Aggie Women Network (AWN) this year. I think you’ll agree this is an amazing time to be an Aggie. We are proud of our National Champion Volleyball team, the Fighting Texas Aggie Band led by Combined Drum Major Natalie Holder, NCAA Outdoor individual champion in triple jump Winny Bii, and Aggie women making their mark not only across campus but also around the globe. 2026 also marks the sesquicentennial birthday of our great university.

The start of a new year brings such hope and promise. It is a time to reflect on the past and set goals for the future. As I think about our future, I also ruminate on our past and how far we have come. It is hard to believe we are in our nineteenth year. We are constantly evolving and growing. The Aggie Core Values of Respect, Excellence, Leadership, Loyalty, Integrity, and Selfless Service remain the cornerstone of our mission and vision. As always, our mission to connect, empower and celebrate remains the same. Our first gathering of the year will be an all-day strategic planning meeting. We will celebrate our 14% growth in 2025 and set goals for 2026. We will hold true to our mission for all our members, old and new.

As a member of Aggie Women Network, you have many opportunities to engage, give back, and connect with other women who share a passion for Texas A&M. We offer regional events, functions in College Station, virtual programming, Women’s Leadership Reception, and our annual Awards Luncheon in October. Membership supports our mission to connect, empower, and celebrate Aggie women through scholarships, networking, and recognition. We summon you to bring your Aggie spirit, get involved, and help strengthen the Texas A&M legacy to stand as a force for good. If you are not already a member, we sincerely invite all women to join us at Membership – Aggie Women.

Thank you and Gig ‘Em
