A Message from the President

Howdy,

As 2019 begins, I can’t help but reflect and appreciate all of the growth and connection with the Aggie community we experienced in 2018.  We celebrated newly elected female student leaders, high performing Aggie faculty, and inspirational women former students.   We held networking events, led panel discussions and sponsored scholarships for Aggie students.  And on top of all of that, we participated in university sponsored conferences and councils and furthered our outreach beyond College Station to Dallas and Houston.

However, having just enjoyed a year which was defined by increased participation in our events… that does not mean we can rest.   Our outreach efforts need to remain constant to ensure we continue on our mission to connect the Aggie community and support the university we love so dearly.  That is truly the one thread that runs throughout our membership and compels us to keep up the work.

I am excited to plan for 2019 with our newest board of directors and will aim to set an example to not only take our commitment seriously but remember to enjoy and have some fun with the journey.

The Aggie Women Network will strive to keep you informed throughout the year, so please stay connected through our website and on social media.   We love to hear from you.

Gig ‘em,

Mary Ewing Miller ‘87

2019 President
